Sammy, I have been a major fan since 73 and the montrose days, I am 52 years old now and to this day I have never had the honor of seeing you play. I was diagnosed with an aggressive form cancer so I just wanted to say that you have been a hero of mine for damn near all my life, you and Mikey are my favorite musicians and even though I've never met either of you I can tell you're both good dudes. I chose not to fight my illness and just let nature take it's course, my faith is 100% in God and his will be done. I am just writing to say thank you for the many years of kick ass rock n roll.
